Uasin Gishu Governor Jackson Mandago is now asking President Uhuru Kenyatta to invite opposition leader Raila Odinga for dialogue at State House once he is officially sworn in for the second term in office.

Speaking in Eldoret on Monday, Mandago said there was no problem for the President to discuss with the opposition on how to drive the nation forward.

The vocal Jubilee governor noted that its time the Jubilee administration kept the promise of holding dialogue with the opposition after the election period.

“We were saying that the only dialogue that will happen between us and the opposition is after elections and now that that is beyond us its time you (Kenyatta) invited Raila for a cup of tea and listen to what he has to say,” Mandago said.

“Whatever the opposition will bring on the table, anything that can be implemented for the good of the country should be worked on but those issues that will be impossible them they (NASA) will have to wait until 2022 to implement them if they will be lucky,” he added.

The governor, however, appealed to all Kenyans to put aside their political differences and forge ahead together as brothers and sisters.
