Kirinyaga Governor Joseph Ndathi has disclosed interesting details about his next move once he quits politics.
While addressing members at a church in Ndia constituency, Kirinyaga county, Ndathi revealed that he would become a pastor after politics.
The county boss cracked up the congregation as he declared how he loved serving God.
"Once I serve my two terms in office I will take up the Bible and preach to the people of God. I will be at the pulpit," he declared.
He insisted that as a born again leader, he would devote his life to spreading the word, but only after serving his second term.
"When I quit politics, I will be a preacher and help in winning lost souls,” he added.
He is expected to face off with former Devolution Cabinet Secretary An Waiguru for the governor's seat in 2017.
