Kwale Women Representative Zainab Chidzuga will not sweat for the Jubilee Party nomination certificate after the Uhuru Kenyatta-led outfit handed her a direct ticket to defend her seat.Chidzuga who bolted out of ODM was to battle it out with former Kwale County Public Service Board Chairperson Fatuma Tabwara who was seen as Chidzuga's nightmare in the race for the precious ticket. The development now means that Jubilee Party will not conduct primaries for the Women Representative position as they already have a candidate. However, Tabwara was forced to rethink her strategy on how to wrestle the seat from Chidzuga after the incumbent was handed a direct ticket with Jubilee keen to outdo their political rivals ODM in the race to bag majority seats in the county that has of late been warming up to the ruling party.Tabwara has since decamped to the Party of Reforms and Development, a Jubilee affiliate party.Alongside Kwale Governor Salim Mvurya, Chidzuga is a key Jubilee party weapon in the region where ODM and opposition in general enjoy a massive following.Just recently, President Kenyatta hit at ODM for giving direct nominations to aspirants, something he said undermines democracy. However, one week later, he has borrowed a leaf from the Raila Odinga-led party.
