Opposition leader Raila Odinga has faulted the Jubilee government for allegedly betraying Kenyans of Somali community.

He said the government has been targeting them, including Muslims, over alleged terrorism along the Kenyan borders and within the Country.

According to him, they have been treated as terrorism suspects and criminals, and denied their Constitutional rights.

''In Garissa, Jubilee has betrayed the Somali and Muslim community in Kenya by treating them as suspects and criminals in the name of fighting terrorism,'' Raila told a crowd at Garissa Township.

Speaking during a voter mobilisation drive, Thursday, Raila asked the government t ensure Kenyans of Somali community and Muslims are given ID cards, to enable them register as voters, and participate in government matters.
