The Jubilee party has more than twice ODM parliamentary aspirants.
According to the data published by the IEBC, President Uhuru Kenyatta’s party has 1,120 Senate, MP and Woman Representatives aspirants.
Jubilee’s aspirants are more than twice the number of those seeking to vie on ODM, a key National Super Alliance (NASA) affiliate.
Jubilee said on Saturday that it has a total of 8,012 aspirants seeking tickets in the nominations ahead of the general election in August.
However, ODM is the single opposition party with the largest number of parliamentary aspirants – 569.
60 of those want to be senators, 446 MPs and 63 are aspiring Woman Representatives.
Musalia Mudavadi’s ANC is the second opposition party in terms of parliamentary aspirants.
ANC has a total of 138 aspirants – 9 senator, 144 MP and 15 going for the Woman Rep seat.
Moses Wetangula’s Ford Kenya has only 7 aspirants, all vying for Women Rep seat.
