Kitutu Masaba MP Timothy Bosire has accused Jubilee administration of reneging on its 2013 election pledges.Bosire said President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Deputy William Ruto have failed to keep the promises they made when they were seeking votes in 2013.The legislator noted Jubilee government had promised to create jobs for Kenyans and improve their livelihoods, a promise it has failed to deliver. “Jubilee has only thrived on the impoverishment of Kenyans and joblessness among youth,” Bosire told the Star on Tuesday. “Our youth have been made paupers seeking handouts in their own country,” noted the ODM national treasurer. The MP further told DP Ruto to apologise to the public for being part of a government that has failed to create the jobs youths were promised when Jubilee was seeking power.Ruto has in many occasions accused the National Super Alliance (NASA) principals of being preoccupied with how to take power instead of planning on how to create jobs for the millions unemployed youth.“Ruto might have done Biology or Chemistry but he must know that under Jubilee, the economy has shrunk, the processing of goods has spiked and inflation has skyrocketed,” Bosire told the Star in a phone interview. The lawmaker added: “These are simple things to see but Ruto has the tendency of rubbishing what others have projected while failing to implement anything.”
