Moiben MP Silas Tiren has asked voters in Uasin Gishu County to fully rally behind President Uhuru Kenyatta in the repeat presidential elections.

Speaking in Eldoret on Saturday, Tiren said the Jubilee government has plans to positively transform the country hence need to give it another term in office.

The Jubilee MP pointed out that since 2013, several development projects have been initiated under the leadership of President Kenyatta.

"We've made big strides as a county since Jubilee government ascended to power and we need to support it so that the development projects continues," Tiren noted.

"More Kenyans are now connected to the national grid, there are more tarmacked roads across the country, our hospitals are now well equipped, just to mention a few," he added.

The MP challenged voters in the county to turn out in large numbers and ensure Kenyatta wins the October 26 repeat polls by a bigger margin than the nullified August 8 results.

"This is a key Jubilee stronghold and we need to register a voter turnout of over 90 per cent so that we help our candidate win big," he said.
