Musyoka on Sunday accused the Nakuru Governor and the MP of sponsoring goons to disrupt the meeting.

The Wiper leader said that they have information that the two leaders hired youths to cause violence and disrupt the meeting.

“We are telling the Interior Cabinet Secretary (CS) Joseph Nkaissery to immediately order arrest of Mbugua and Ngunjiri for the disruption of Raila meeting on Saturday,” said Musyoka.

The Wiper leader said that every Kenyan has a right to hold a meeting in any part of the country, adding that such acts of intolerance should not be tolerated.

The former Vice President claimed that Jubilee government was keen to frustrate the activities of the opposition.

The Cord co-principal however said that as opposition they will stand firm and continue to fault the government for failing Kenyans.

On Saturday police were forced to shoot in the air to disperse rowdy youths who wanted to disrupt Raila’s meeting.

Raila was forced to cancel the meeting after consultations with county ODM leaders.

Governor Kinuthia had earlier said that his government will not approve licenses for Cord to hold rallies in the county.

Mbugua had said that Cord rallies were a threat to peace and business.
