Jubilee party politicians led by President Uhuru Kenyatta and DP William Ruto demonized ODM party fracas but it seems they are gurus in marshaling hooliganism.
The city Jubilee politics have started revealing the fact that what people thought Raila Odinga was unable to rectify is also a nightmare to self-proclaimed righteous Jubilee family.
When Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party was forced to cancel its nominations due to invasion by “men in black”, everyone said Raila’s party lacked internal democracy thus could not rule the nation effectively. Jubilee has replicated this ugly scenes in Nairobi before the real nominations. Should we conclude that Jubilee inability to prepare for free and fair nominations is an indication of leadership incompetence?
Haters of the Orange party blew the aborted nominations out of proportion. The event later caused party Secretary General Ababu Namwamba to quit and Join ODM a move the opposition views as funded by Jubilee. Ababu’s move worsened the image of ODM but the ball is now in Jubilee’s court but they are unable to handle it.
Nairobi senator Mike Sonko might ditch Jubilee and it is now clear that nominations will be uglier than what we saw in ODM. This proves that Jubilee does not have the moral consent to judge ODM or any other party. They should start by removing logs in their eyes before laughing at other people.
