Governors in Jubilee strongholds have embarked on vigorous campaigns to ensure President Uhuru Kenyatta retains power in the repeat election slated for next month.Speaking during a campaign caravan christened 'Taifa la Jubilee', Murang'a Governor Mwangi Wa Iria said the county bosses are leaving nothing to chance in their efforts to ensure 100 per cent voter turnout in Jubilee backyards."There will be a team at every polling station to identify voters. Anyone who would not have voted by 1pm on October 26 would be looked for and taken to vote," Iria said.The Governor said chiefs and health workers would help identify homes of those who would not have voted by 1pm."We are also telling those who were misled by politicians to transfer their votes to other counties far away from their home areas, to come out and be registered so that we can provide transport during the poll day. No one should have a reason not to vote," the county boss added.Iria said the 'Taifa la Jubilee' caravan has been traversing Jubilee strongholds to woo residents to vote for President Uhuru."We are pitching camps in the areas that support Jubilee to plead with locals to support Uhuru and come out in large numbers to re-elect him," he added.
