Cord co-principal Raila Odinga has yet again criticised Jubilee top brass over the unfulfilled election promises they made to Kenyans before assuming office.
On Sunday, Raila said the leaders have failed to implement the election pledges, further accusing the administration of condoning corruption.
"Time has come to deal with a corrupt government because it is four years now since the Jubilee administration came to power and is yet to implement the pledges it promised Kenyans. Instead of implementing the promises, the government is condoning corruption," said the ODM party leader.
On matters IEBC, Raila urged the youth to register and get voter's cards, further insisting onthe need for the IEBC commissioners to leave office to ensure a free and fair election in 2017.
"Youths, we can only change the leadership of this country through the ballot and that is the reason why you must register in large numbers to get voter's cards. Also, the next election will only be fair if the IEBC officials leave office," added Raila.
The Opposition leader made the remarks at Manga stadium in Kitutu Masaba constituency during the homecoming of area MP Timothy Bosire who was among the eight lawmakers who were arrested and later charged in court with hate speech.
The eight had been detained for four days at the Pangani and Muthaiga police stations for four days before they were released on bond by a Nairobi court after denying the charges.
