TNA chairman, Johnson Sakaja has said that the Jubilee Party is determined to ensure that there is political democracy in the country.
Sakaja said that Jubilee's move to form one party will bring democracy into Kenyan politics.
He noted that the country having many politics has brought about tribalism in the country.
"Jubilee forming one party is a good move for democracy. Some people who are opposing the one party to be formed by Jubilee are those who do not want democracy in our Kenyan politics. One party will mean all Kenyans will support one leader and not the many leaders from the several parties who will divide Kenyans politically, "he stated.
He urged Cord to form one party as well ahead of the 2017 General Election.
"Cord should form one party and this will ensure a successful election in 2017. It is my hope that they(Cord) will also follow the footsteps as Jubilee to dissolve its affiliated parties to form one party to compete Jubilee in 2017," he said.
