Opposition NASA could still lose ‘badly’ to an organized Jubilee team in August, claims analyst Mutahi Ngunyi.
The two are arguably main rivals in August elections and have rolled out vicious campaigns across the country.
But according to Ng’unyi, NASA leader Raila Odinga may find himself on the receiving end should he fail to ‘organize’ his campaigns and coming with immediate solutions to shortcomings of Jubilee government.
“Jubilee team is coming with good propaganda and is traversing the country especially in NASA regions. They are even fulfilling some of the promises they made in 2013,” says Ngunyi.
He further says: “On the contrary, NASA only dwells on touring its strongholds and rarely takes serious campaigns to Jubilee zones. Odinga is also not making stop overs in villages.”
In the past three weeks, President Uhuru Kenyatta has made several stopovers in the interior villages while campaigning, a total contrast of NASA team which majorly focuses on urban centers.
Other than dwelling on propaganda to thrive in campaigns, Jubilee is also unleashing incentives to voters unlike NASA which ‘wastes’ a lot of time responding to ‘unnecessary’ according to Ng’unyi.
