Garissa Town MP Aden Duale has asked North Eastern locals not to listen to the opposition's political rhetorics, and instead endorse President Uhuru Kenyatta’s s re-election in the August 8 general election.
According to Duale, Jubilee administration deserves a second term basing on its development track record in the past four years.
Speaking after launching development projects in Garissa , Duale asked the region not to be swayed by empty politics allegedly being perpetuated by the opposition.
Duale said that the opposition has nothing that it can offer to North Eastern locals.
The leader of Majority in the National Assembly said that North Eastern has been stable in terms of security under Jubilee government watch in the last four years.
“President Uhuru Kenyatta is our only hope in terms of development, we cannot afford to trust any other person,” he said on Sunday as quoted by the Standard.
Meanwhile, Duale has dismissed the newly formed Economic Freedom Party by a section of Mandera county leaders.
Duale said that North Eastern region can only unite and achieve is development agenda under Jubilee Party.
On Sunday a section of Mandera leaders led by senator Billow Kerrow ditched Jubilee Party and formed the Economic Freedom Party.
