Joho said the Jubilee administration has little to show in new projects for the last close to five years.

"I understand the history of this project," he said in reference to the Mombasa Storm Water Drainage Improvement Project Phase 2, which the Head of State launched in Bamburi on Thursday.

"This project began in 2010 under the Kenyan Municipal Programme. The questions we have been asking ourselves is the number of projects Jubilee has initiated in Mombasa since it came to power."

"This project began in 2010 when Jubilee was not in power and the project's money came from the World Bank."

"I want to hear being announced here today that the Jubilee government will invest billions of shillings in Mombasa in new projects."

President Uhuru who steered away from politics said: "I urged leaders to differentiate between politics and development."
