Ugunja MP Opiyo Wandayi has now linked Jubilee to the ongoing nurses' strike.
According to the lawmaker, the strike, which has since surpassed the 100-day mark is the making of the Jubilee administration in a scheme aimed at making the health docket revert back to the national government.
Under the current constitutional dispensation, health is a devolved function.
Wandayi further asked the Council of Governors to stop sacking threatening the health workers, arguing that the body does not have a long lasting solution to the standoff in the health sector.
He observed that the devolved units do not have the capacity to meet the medics' grievances since they do not have the financial capacity.
"It is unfortunate for the public to continue suffering because of Jubilee. I want to advise the governors to stop acting as if they are in a position to meet the nurses' demands when they have no financial capacity," he remarked.
