Jubilee associated leaders in Kisii county failed to convene a meeting to push for more cabinet slots after a good number of elected MPs failed to appear.
The meeting that was organized by former Kisii county senator Chris Obure was supposed to be held over the weekend, however, according to one of the jubilee MCA who requested not to be mentioned the majority of top jubilee leaders failed to appear hence nothing tangible would be discussed.
"The meeting didn't kick off as some of the leaders from the region including MPs and CS Fred Matiang'i didn't manage to come citing various reasons but we believe it will be held soon," said the Mca
The MCA, however, claimed currently there is a rift as some of the losers in the recently concluded pols are lobbying for top seats in Jubilee government on an individual basis.
Obure, however, would not be reached by phone to give his comments on the matter that he publicly admitted that was ongoing over last week.
