A section of Jubilee leaders have hailed President Uhuru Kenyatta over his recent announcement that he does not support the constitution amendment.

Speaking at state house on Friday, Uhuru said 'there is no time of going round the country asking whether you want a constitution or no constitution'.

On Staurday, Jubilee leaders allied to the Deputy President said Raila has not been genuine with the handshake and Uhuru should be cautious.

“Raila’s handshake is not sincere and Kenyans need to ignore it as it was in bad taste,” Murkomen said.

Murkomen was accompanying Ruto in a visit to Eldama Ravine.

Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung'wa said the president had now restored 'peace' within Jubilee for being clear on where he stands on the matter.
