More leaders have come out open to laud Jubilee legislators for rejecting nomination of Charles Nyachae to regional assembly last week.
The former CIC chair came sixth in a tight contest that saw both Jubilee and NASA wrestle for nomination to Arusha based East African Assembly.
"Nomination cannot be dictated by one family all the time. This is a lesson that political dynasties died long ago," said Alfayo Mogambi on Borabu.
James Manani of Kitutu Masaba Jubilee branch said: "Nyachae did not deserve at all. He should have left for another Kisii to pursue the dream. That was job well done."
For many years, a section of Kisii people have been accusing the family of Ex-cabinet miniter Simon Nyachae of power monopoly in the region.
In 2013, residents of Nyamira and Kisii Counties protested the decision by President Uhuru Kenyatta to nominate five members from Nyachae family to various posts.
Also missing the position was Doris Aburi, who unsuccessfully viewed Kisii County Women Representative seat.
