Jubilee leaders in Nyamira County have criticised Wednesday's incident where Cord MPs blocked Speaker Justin Muturi from accessing the assembly chambers.
Former Kisii mayor and Kemera ward aspirant Alloys Moseti termed the incident as the most primitive in this day and age.
Speaking to this writer on the phone, Moseti said most of the Cord leaders who were abusing the President like Mbita MP Millie Odhiambo are the kind of leaders who have no development agenda for this nation and who only want to be famous for no apparent reasons.
"How can you throw insults at the President. If you feel he's not worth to be your President pack and find another place to go, the people are empty debes making noises in the chambers especially when they see journalists. They are people who have misused public funds in their respective constituencies, no development, they only do development with their mouths," said Moseti.
His sentiments were echoed by Nyamira township ward aspirant Gabriel Amenya who asked leaders to respect the President if they also want to be respected when they assume office.
"Respect those who are in office and you will be respected when you take over, who will respect Raila (Odinga) if this is how his MPs handle our President?" he posed.
