Led by Thika MP Alice N’gan’ga, Richard Ton’go, Kigo Njenga (Gatundu North), Jude Njomo (Kiambu Town) and Mutava Musyimi (Siakago) have asked the governor to stop engaging in verbal insults with the President.

Ms Ng’ang’a asked Joho to clear his name from the list of suspected drug traffickers instead of waging war against the President, as Citizen reports.

She also urged Joho to account for the funds he has been receiving from the national government since he took over Mombasa County following the last general election.

On his part, Njomo termed Joho’s actions childish. Joho and Uhuru have been differing over various with the governor accusing the head of state for attempting to hijack projects that were not funded by his government as he seeks re-election.

Joho and his Kilifi Counterpart Amason Kingi have vowed to mobilize residents to overwhelmingly vote for the opposition to dethrone Jubilee from power.
