The National Super Alliance (Nasa) has been warned against using unconstitutional means to eject IEBC officials from office.
Addressing a rally in Nakuru, the leaders urged Nasa to use the correct channel to remove the commissioners and avoid taking innocent people to the streets.
Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria told NASA to push for the setting-up of a tribunal to deal with the issue to avert unnecessary loss of lives.
Mr Kuria urged security agents to be on the lookout and ensure those organising the protests are held personally responsible for any life that is lost.
Former Budalang'i MP Ababu Namwamba lashed out at NASA for disobeying court orders directing IEBC to hold polls within 60 days.
Nasa, led by Raila Odinga, is expected to demonstrate against the IEBC today in a bid to force some of the officials to resign.
Raila's team is accusing IEBC CEO Ezra Chiloba of planning to rig the fresh election.
The opposition says Chiloba was responsible for the bungled August elections.
