President Uhuru Kenyatta has called off the planned Jubilee rally in Turkana.

The cancellation follows the sudden death of Interior CS Joseph Nkaissery in at the Karen Hospital in Nairobi on Friday night.

The President and his deputy will instead join the family of the late Nkaissery in mourning the Interior CS.

Jubilee was set to campaign in Lokitaung, Kakuma, Lodwar and Lokichar areas in Turkana County.

State House has not indicated when the President will take his campaign to Turkana following the cancellation.
