Nairobi County Speaker Beatrice Elachi has said that lawyer Miguna Miguna will be vetted and approved.
According to Elachi, the move will be made since Miguna is the choice of governor Mike Sonko.
This comes after Elachi on Friday stated that Miguna will not be approced since he is not a Member of the Jubilee Party.
Speaking in Mombasa on Saturday flanked with MCAs, Elachi said governor Sonko and Miguna have rights to the nomination and that they are fully behind the county boss.
"On the day he comes back, we will vet him. We have no choice... I mean, he is the Governor's choice ... we will respect that," Elachi said.
Currently the county assembly is on a reteat in Mombasa.
On Wednesday, Sonko sparked controversy by appointing Miguna who is currently in Canada after being deported from the country.
