Kisumu Senator Prof Anyang' Nyong'o has dismissed the Jubilee manifesto as just an 'operational document' without value.
Nyong'o who spoke to KTN News after the Jubilee manifesto launch on Monday said that Nasa was going to demolish the 'empty Jubilee manifesto on Tuesday when they launch theirs which has values 'that make a nation.'
"This Jubilee manifesto has cut and paste parts from the NARC manifesto. The manifesto has parts where the word "because" is repeated and full of grammatical errors. Nothing else to write home about. A manifesto is like a constitution and when there are no values tied to it, it becomes a dead document," said Nyong'o.
However, President Uhuru Kenyatta who led the manifesto launch on Monday evening at Kasarani said that Kenyans should be happy for what Jubilee has achieved and work harder for what lies ahead.
“There are many things they said we can't accomplish which we have. And I am sure if given time, there is more we can accomplish," said Kenyatta.
He added: "You were told if you elected us, the world would reject us. Today, every country wants to visit Kenya. There is no country that has refused to accommodate the Kenyan president."
The Jubilee manifesto is based on three pillars; transforming lives, society and nation.
