The MCAs asked Kenneth to dissolve the Kenya National Congress Party and laujded his recent support for Jubilee Party.

Speaking at a church service in Eastleigh, Kenneth declared his support for President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election in 2017 and said that he was still in consultations on where to vie for governorship betwern Murang’a County, Nakuru or Nairobi.

“Now that he has declared he will support the President next year, he should wrap up his party and join like the rest of the other dissolved parties,” Ngara MCA Mwaura Chege told Nairobi News.

Chege asked Kenneth to consult MCAs from Nairobi as he was best suited for the city job.

Chege however made it clear that they had not endorsed Kenneth or anyone for Nairobi governor.

“We will, however, not endorse anyone. The people will decide during nominations,” he added.

Kahawa West MCA Ngaruiya Chege on his side praised Peter Kenneth's track record on development, adding that it would give him an upper hand in the quest to remove Kidero from the Nairobi office.
