NASA leader Raila Odinga has dismissed the October 17th date that has been set by the IEBC to conduct the repeat polls in line with the sixty days constitutional demand.

Odinga even said on Tuesday that national exams should be pushed by two weeks because the election is an important national exercise.

However, Jubilee politicians led by Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen and Sabina Chege responded to the Odinga's sentiments urging him not to politicise education in Kenya.

Murkomen and his team have condemned Raila's move of issuing ultimatums to the IEBC since it is an independent commission and if they feel aggrieved they should as well boycott the polls.

The Jubilee MPs said if national exams are postponed it is the local mwanainchi who will be affected the most.
