According to the current accusations by Omogusii unity movement in Gusii region, it will be difficult for jubilee to take over the region’s votes.
Many residents and some leaders keep on accusing Kisii county leaders who formed the Omogusii unity Movement without consulting them since it the residents who have votes.
Many have said the movement was formed to benefit the movement’s members leaving out residents who are voters
Recently the movement visited State House and most of the residents and other leaders called them tumbocrats meaning they what to benefit themselves.
From my opinion, the nickname (Tumbocrats) has created a bad image in Gusii region and Jubilee will lose again as many voters think that the movement visited State House to benefit themselves.
This movement was to consult Gusii elders what to do first and the movement’s agenda before anything.
Gusii region is a Cord Coalition stronghold but if Jubilee will fulfill its development pledges in Gusii then their percentage votes will increase from 25 percent in the last general election to around 40 percent.
