Forming the National Super Alliance (NASA) has been informed by Jubilee government's misrule over the past four years, Amani National Coalition (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi has said.
Speaking on Citizen TV's Big Question news show on Tuesday, Mudavadi said that the whole of opposition is in agreement that they need to come together to be able to dislodge the 'corrupt' regime from power in 2017.
"NASA is all about convergence of issues because all of us in the opposition agree that the Jubilee government has performed dismally," Mudavadi said.
Challenged on why he was the only one who seemed interested in the so-called NASA, Mudavadi said that all the key opposition figures including Raila Odinga have embraced the idea and it was just a matter of time before it came to fruition.
"I am not the only one talking about Nasa because everyone in opposition supports the need to have a united force. What am pushing is just a mere concept and an acronym which we can always change if the need be though we have reserved the name," he added.
Mudavadi revealed that he was ready to support any of the three Cord co-principals saying that they are credible and capable leaders while noting that serious discussion and trust is pivotal in having the alliance work.
He also said that he was not in fear of betrayal considering the events of the run up to 2013 General elections with UhuRuto saying that a good idea cannot be shelved because of fear.
