Kiambu Town MP Jude Njomo has rubbished claims of rifts in Jubilee over partial cabinet changes made by president Uhuru Kenyatta on Friday last week.
Speaking to journalists in Kiambu Town on Saturday, Njomo said DP Ruto's absence on Friday as Uhuru announced appointments does not mean or symbolize anything.
The MP said that it was not mandatory for DP Ruto to be around when Uhuru was announcing the changes.
Njomo accused certain bloggers and propagandists of spreading lies.
"It is laughable to hear some people spread propaganda in regards to the cabinet changes made on Friday and as Jubilee, we have no time for them," he said.
The Jubilee lawmaker urged Kenyans to ignore propagandists and support President Uhuru Kenyatta's government.
There have been speculations on why DP Ruto was missing on Friday as Uhuru made changes to the cabinet.
On Saturday, DP Ruto spokesperson dismissed claims of bad blood between Uhuru and his deputy over the appointments noting that it was not a must for the DP to be around during the announcement.
Uhuru made changes to the cabinet, retaining only six Cabinet Secretaries and nominated three new faces to the cabinet.
The president nominated outgoing Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko, former Marsabit governor Ukur Yattani, and former Turkana senator John Munyes to the cabinet.
Uhuru's appointments have elicited mixed reactions with women crying out foul for being left out.
The president is expected to make more nominations and appointments as he restructures his government in his second and last term.
