Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose said his political rivals incited public health officers to close the school on grounds that the school lacked toilets for boys.

“I am the patron in the school and plans are underway to construct the boys’ toilets. It is unfortunate that my political opponents are frustrating our efforts and incited public health officers to close the school,” he said.

The lawmaker added that he will not succumb to intimidation by politicians who are after tainting his name.

“Nothing is going to change me from being an MP in the area until 2022 when I will face my rivals in the ballot. I will do my work," he said.

Masaba North officer in charge of public health Thomas Nyang’au said they decided to close the school because boys toilets had cracked.
