Rongai Member of Parliament Raymond Moi doesn't deserve another term to serve in office, Jubilee Party lawmaker has said.

According to Kikuyu MP Kimani Ichung'wa, Moi was sleeping on the job and has failed in his duty of representing his constituents in the National Assembly.

"Don't give this guy any more chances. He has been sleeping in Parliament instead of representing you," Ichung'wa said, as quoted by the Star.

He was addressing Rongai residents on Tuesday during a campaign rally.

The legislator said instead of Moi, voters should rally behind Jubilee parliamentary seat candidate Andrew Kibet Komen, who, according to Ichung'wa is the most suitable person to represent them.

"He is a vibrant leader who will add value to Deputy President William Ruto's 2022 presidential bid. Please don't let him down," he pleaded.

Nakuru Deputy Governor aspirant Erick Korir called for a six-piece voting for all candidates allied to President Uhuru Kenyatta's party.

"All the county's 11 constituencies should elect all Jubilee Party aspirants. Ensure Komen gets the seat," Korir remarked.

Moi will be seeking to defend his seat on KANU ticket.
