Othaya Member of Parliament candidate Gichuki Mugambi was on Tuesday involved in a road accident in Ruiru, Kiambu County.

The Jubilee politician had one of his legs badly injured during the Tuesday 10am accident.

He was driving from Ruai to Ruiru. He was admitted at The Nairobi Hospital and is reportedly in a stable condition.

Two other people were injured and were rushed to hospital.

This comes three days after Kitutu Chache South Jubilee candidate Leonard Mwamba died in a tragic road accident along Kisii –Kisumu road.
