Nyeri Town Mp Ngunjiri Wambugu has lauded President Uhuru Kenyatta's move concerning Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka.

The MP's sentiments are in line with the government's move to have the police withdrawn from Uhuru Park to let National Super Alliance (NASA) partake in the swearing-in of Raila and Kalonzo.

Initially, Uhuru Park had been cordoned off by the Nairobi County government and the police and NASA together with its supporters barred from accessing the area.

"Today confirms that history will judge that Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta was one of the wisest presidents the world has ever had; and put him right up there with King Solomon (today Uhuru acted like Solomon did when he was deciding what to do with a child claimed by two women)," posted Ngunjiri on his Facebook page on Tuesday.

Ngunjiri however feels that the swearing-in insisted by NASA is going to damage Raila's character.

"Also, after today, Raila Amolo Odinga moves from a major character in Kenya's history, to a footnote," added Ngunjiri.

NASA plans to swear-in Raila and Kalonzo today (Tuesday) on allegations that they won the August 8 2017 elections.

NASA leaders and their supporters have already started making their way to Uhuru Park with some traveling from different parts of the country to participate in the event.
