Firebrand Nandi Hills MP Alfred Keter has yet again warned against President Uhuru Kenyatta's onslaught against perceived Jubilee rebels.
Reportedly, Uhuru has ordered Jubilee members to vote out four legislators from various house committee as chairmen, a move that has not gone down well with Keter.
"I respect the president but he should confine himself to executive issues. Parliament is an independent institution," he said on Sunday at his backyard.
Uhuru wants Keter out of Labour committee, Silas Tiren (Agriculture) and Bowen Kangongo (Environment) on claims that they had violated the party's common stand.
But Keter, whose is not stranger to controversy, says he is willing to take political risk by demanding for rights within Jubilee.
"We are not scared and I dare them to fire me. I will fight for my rights as an elected MP and that will go unquestioned. Let them bring it on."
Efforts by DP William Ruto to have the three step down from leadership of departmental committees have not succeeded with some said to have defied him openly.
