A Jubilee MP has vowed to 'die' with Chief Justice David Maraga, claiming that he is a victim of 'cartels' within the administration.
For months now, the judiciary has grappled in external wars with the executive even as Chief Justice David Maraga remains the chief target for ouster.
But Kitutu Masaba MP Shadrack Mose has vowed to fight along with the CJ adding that external attacks by politicians on judiciary would impede delivery of justice.
"He has done nothing wrong and I am one of Jubilee MP who will die with him at any given moment," said Mose on Friday.
He added: "We need a strong judiciary and if that is not guaranteed, then we forget about delivery of justice."
Although State House has denied claims that President Uhuru Kenyatta is interested in 'fixing' the judiciary, the Head of state is on record for promising fireworks.
