A Jubilee Party MP has hit out at the state over what he called harassment by the government for standing up for the people Kenya.
Moiben MP Silas Tiren expressed fear that legislators who were putting the government on the spot would be victimised by the state.
''They are going after anyone who is standing up for the people. They took Keter because of his stand on certain matters,'' the MP said.
Silas Tiren was speaking today in his constituency, saying that they would not wobble.
Tiren and Keter were hounded out of House Committees over insubordination.
Keter was arrested earlier today over what the Central Bank of Kenya calls forgery of treasury bills.
