According to FIDA, the Jubilee MP's utterances are unacceptable and are meant to demean women who are in leadership positions.
"Fida Kenya would like to strongly condemn the utterances by Hon. Nimrod Mbai towards Hon. Charity Ngilu, we quote," Charity Ngilu should be raped in her office if she does not drop her hard political stance against Uhuru Kenyatta," said Fida in a statement.
The agency further said that the demeaning statement by the lawmaker is a pointer to how women politician are subjected to gender violence in the society.
MP Mbai is among the politician who overcame Wiper and NASA wave in the region to win the seats on Jubilee Party ticket and he has since emerged as Uhuru's staunch defender in the pro-opposition county.
He clinched the seat after defeating former MP Mutua Muluvi of Wiper.
