A Jubilee has rubbished NASA plans to swear in Raila Odinga as the People's president.
Nyaribari Chache MP Richard Tong'i said Raila should stop wasting time and instead focus on shaping someone ahead of 2022.
The lawmaker said it will be unconstitutional for Raila and Kalonzo to take oath yet they were never elected.
"NASA boycotted elections. Raila and his team should stop wasting time but instead focus on 2022 because Kenya already we have a president," he said.
The legislator said the government will not allow anyone to engage in illegal activities meant to destroy the economy.
"Last year we had long and divisive politics. The Jubilee government is focused to deliver as promised in the manifesto and anyone derailing the government's plans will be dealt with accordingly," he noted.
He challenged NASA politicians to help the government in service delivery.
"I am calling my colleagues serving in the senate and national assembly to unite and help president Uhuru Kenyatta in serving the people of Kenya," he said.
