Nominated Member of Parliament David Ole Sankok has maintained that Deputy President William Ruto's presidential bid in the approaching 2022 general elections is unstoppable.
Speaking on Radio Citizen Thursday morning, the leader poked holes into the latest political moves, including the chain of reconciliations spearheaded by opposition leader Raila Odinga, terming it as an unsuccessful plot to turn leaders against the DP in a bid to paralyze his bid
He promised to champion for the inclusion of some opposition figures who are seemingly getting overpowered by the feeling of being out of government, vowing to push for the consideration of Wiper Democratic Movement (WDM) party leader Kalonzo Musyoka for a majority post under Ruto's leadership.
''Ruto will undoubtedly be our next President and I will be in the front line in pushing for inclusion of other leaders into our team. For instance, I would want Kalonzo Musyoka allocated a majority leader post in one of our legislative houses,'' he said.
Regarding the ongoing referendum debate, Sankok noted that the bid is set for a collapse, saying that the majority Jubilee side will not take part in the push.
''We as Jubilee will not be involved in plots to either change the constitution or our presidential candidate. Our candidate remains William Ruto and the issue is not open for discussions. The only remaining thing to be discussed is his running mate but he is the one to again decide on that,'' he added.
