The Deputy President William Ruto’s presidential dream can be unfulfilled if leaders around him keep talking uncontrollably, Cheragany MP Joshua Kutuny has said.

While addressing the press on Tuesday, the Jubilee legislator said that the deputy president’s only concern is to bring Kenyan together because he has already gained the popularity and his political maneuvers is well known.

“The deputy president needs leaders who will bring Kenyans together. He has built himself politically and everybody knows him and his courage, his political tactics, his political experience is well known. Leaders speaking a lot can prevent the deputy president from achieving his political ambitions,” said Kutuny.

He also added that among the politicians who are eying for the top seat, most of them governors on their late terms, the deputy president is the most popular.

“As for now, there is nobody popular than the deputy president who as declared his 2022 presidential ambitions,” he noted.

Kutuny’s remarks comes amidst wrangles in the Jubilee government that many have anticipated that it will lead to division that might cost Ruto the presidency. 

The wrangles have been caused by the president Kenyatta’s call for lifestyle audit that many Ruto allies feel is targeted at Killing him politically.
