The Jubilee MP had on Saturday said 2022 presidential race was open to anyone noting that Deputy President William Ruto and Senator Moi had equal chances of clinching the seat depending on who they will pick as their running mates.

This, however, did not go down well with some of the Rift Valley residents who accused the first term MP popularly known as 'Jembe Nne' for trying to destroy the DP's state house ambitions.

Here are some of the selected harsh reactions from members of a local Facebook group, GOTABGAA FORUM;

Sylas Tochim - “KANU mole. He ought to be where he belongs.”

Bett Kispkosgei Eluid - “Mnafanya campaign hapa na hamtaweza campaign kamili. Mwambie Gideon aende Kisii leo tuone a crowd he will manage ama Wajir. You are comparing a wheelbarrow (GM) na SGR (WSR). Ama fishing boat ya kazungu na cruise ship.”

Mike Kittur Chepchogon - “Sometimes it’s not bad to dream daytime.”

David Magut Arap Seurey - “Tuwei was always a KANU man am not surprised at all let him concentrate on his mandate he cannot dictate us on what to do so #wsriunstopable."

However not all criticized the vocal MP with Noah Lagat admitting that the choice of a running mate will be a key determiner of who wins the top seat between DP Ruto and Senator Moi.

“Whether you agree with the guy or not this is a season and mature political approach. The issue of running mate will be a determining factor come 2022. Kenyans are listening. Can agree more with the speaker," posted Lagat.

“Full of wisdom. I wasn’t expecting such wise words from this guy. I salute him!" added another member of the Facebook group Brian Kibor.
