A Jubilee Member of Parliament who lost in the nominations shocked revellers in a Nairobi restaurant when he drummed support for an ODM politician.
Moses Sakuda of Kajiado West constituency on Friday night at the Carnivore Restaurant said Governor David Nkedianye of ODM should be re-elected.
Sakuda took to the podium and shouted “NASA eeh! NASA aah!” in the fully packed restaurant during a Maasai annual event, popularly known as “Esiankiki Night”.
The Jubilee MPs statements were well applauded by the attendees.
Sakuda has termed the Jubilee primaries as shambolic.
He commended Laikipia North MP, Mathew Lempurkel, Nkedianye, Kajiado Central MP, Elijah Kanchory, and Narok North MP Moitalel ole Kenta for championing the rights of the Maa community.
“Even me, as I stand in front of you, I am one of those leaders I have mentioned because I have always stood with our people. Maasai issues that affect us directly is more paramount to party issues,” Sakuda said, according to The Star.
