Jubilee nominated MP Cecile Mbarire has sided with NASA MPs angry at the list of names submitted to the National Assembly and the Senate.

''There is not, out of the four men, a single woman on that list. I think NASA should feel ashamed for letting down the women of this country.'' A seething Mbarire said in parliament.

The list that was presented by NASA to both houses on Wednesday was dominated by men, a fact that angered women in the opposition who vowed to resist the list.

Likoni MP Mishi Mboko reminded Raila that some women in ODM had fought for him and paid dearly for it.

Mbarire who sided with NASA women against the list was nominated by Jubilee to parliament after losing in a political race to an opponent.

Mbarire's intervention puts more pressure on Odinga who has been accused before of not being a true democrat despite styling himself as such.

It remains to be seen whether the added pressure will force a review of the disputed list.
