Marakwet East Member of Parliament David Bowen Kangogo has said he is ready for a by-election after the Eldoret High court nullified his win.
The Jubilee MP said he is confident that he will be re-elected."I am not in agreement with the court ruling but I respect it. I am ready for a by-election and I will show my critiques that I won fairly," he said during a press conference in Eldoret town, Tuesday."My supporters should remain calm and refrain from any acts of violence. Even President Uhuru Kenyatta's election was nullified but at long last, he was re-elected and I am confident that I will follow suit," he added.Eldoret High Court Judge George Kimondo on Tuesday nullified Bowen's win in the August 8 poll on grounds that the results were not verifiable.
