A Jubilee MP in Nyamira County has said that corrupt officials in the county should be kicked out.
North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko said Nyamira County governor John Nyagarama and his deputy Amos Nyaribo should not condone corruption in their government.
"The latest corruption reported in the county especially in the health docket should not be condoned.
"Public funds should be respected and be used appropriately failure to which officials embezzling the funds must be sacked, arrested and be prosecuted in a court of law," he noted.
The lawmaker said Nyagarama should not joke around public resources because he will be retiring in 2022.
"County employees misusing public funds meant to buy drugs to our hospitals and fund other projects in the county must be punished.
"Nyagarama and his deputy must work around the clock to ensure the develop the county and not making the county to be behind in terms of development," he added.
He noted that county workers workers who forged academic documents to secure employment should be arrested and be sent to jail.
