Alice Wahome, the Kandara MP, says Raila Odinga's planned swearing-in should be expedited to give Kenyans a 'break' from murky politics.
She further argues that the swearing-in will not have any significant impact since it is outside the confines of the law.
"It is just lifting the Bible and moving on. It is not supported by the law whatsoever so I don't see any need for panicking.
"There is no legal basis and he won't have instruments of power. He should be allowed to move on with his plans," she said, castigating Jubilee's efforts to thwart the plan.
So far, NASA insists plans to swear in Raila are ongoing with Kakamega Senator Cleophas Malala revealing that a substantive number of MPs have signed an affidavit in support.
Understandably, the US has opposed the oath taking and is currently lobbying for consensus between NASA and Jubilee to solve the current stalemate.
