Activist Vincent Omao, in papers filed at Kisumu Labour court, argued that the MP has been pushing for recruitment of a close friend despite the current officer holder of coordinator's office excelling in interviews conducted at KSG.

"The second respondent is interfering with a government recruitment exercise contrary to the law," read part of his petition.

He further said: "If this trend is allowed, the blatant violation of the rule of law will set bad precedent."

Ms, Momanyi, who was elected on a Jubilee ticket, is believed to be opposed to the current custodian of National Government Affirmative Action Funds Jared Ongiri, a claim she denies.

"I am not a recruiting agency and those who sit in the board are known. It is unfair to draw me to such issues," she said.

The court has given the NGAAF board and the MP a period of 14 days to respond to the petition before date for hearing is set.
