Kimilili Member of Parliament Didimis Barasa wants the government to bar National Super Alliance (Nasa) presidential candidate Raila Odinga from leaving the country before fresh presidential poll.Barasa has called on the government to detain Raila's passport, claiming he is likely to flee the country in the event he causes chaos in the country.The Jubilee legislator has vowed to sponsor a Bill in Parliament that will see the former prime minister surrender his passport before the October election. “I will go to Parliament to ensure that Raila surrenders his passport as he will cause chaos and flee. We want him here,” Barasa is quoted by the Standard."The Opposition is likely to cause trouble should their demands to have the election postponed fail. The Opposition is scared and has resorted to inciting their supporters to take to the streets and cause mayhem," added Barasa.The Kimilili lawmaker called on Kenyans to be peaceful during the fresh election. “We should have a peaceful election. There is no need for people to cause violence in order to attain political office. This is why I want Raila's passport detained," he noted.
