Kieni MP Kanini Kega has asked the international community to cancel visas of National Super Alliance (NASA) members who are fronting for the swearing in of opposition leader Raila Odinga slated for January 30th 2018.

Kega speaking on Saturday said that this move will illustrate the seriousness of foreign envoys in their quest for calling for dialogue in the country and ensuring that the country remains peaceful.''If the international community is serious about ensuring Kenya remains peaceful, they should revoke visas of anyone who has appended their signature to endorse Raila Odinga’s swearing in,” kega said. “What the NASA legislators are trying to do is plunge this country into chaos with a plan to escape to other countries together with their families. That should not be allowed.”

He further says that all NASA supporters who are also pushing for Raila's oath should not be given visas when they apply in order to prevent them from leaving the country,

This comes after several legislators signed affidavits to show support for the oath taking process of Raila as the "Peoples President".

ODM's communication director Phillip Etale urged NASA supporters to question their MPs if they had not signed the affidavits rcognising Raila Odinga and Stephen Kalonzo's Presidency.

“Ask your elected leader whether they have signed this instrument and if they have not, we leave it to the wisdom of wananchi to deal with them politically,” Etale said on Wednesday in a communication to the media.
